I would like to share a little bit of my book with you. I have set up the book as a 365 day journey to discover, design and then actually begin living the life of your dreams! You can simply take a few minutes each day to read one page of inspiration, information and an action step.
Day 1 Dream
Everyone has a dream. You may not be able to describe it. Maybe you have forgotten it. You may even think your dream is no longer possible. But it is there, waiting to be discovered. Try to recall the dreams of your childhood. Spend a few minutes with a five-year-old child, and you will get the idea of how to let go and really dream! Ask him or her, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" The ideas come so easily for a child: a firefighter, ballerina, secret agent, doctor, teacher, professional athlete... One of the most important rules of happiness in life is to do what you LOVE. But discovering that dream, your contribution to the world, that perfect job, or what you are meant to do in life isn't always so easy.
What I mean by dream is following your heart's desire to what you truly love to do, your passion. Dream BIG, and describe it in detail. Find something that you want so badly that you wake up in the morning thinking about it and can't wait to get up and do. Dreams are the WHY that drives you - fuel for your soul. Dreams can be big or small, tangible or intangible. With out vision or a dream, we are not going to truly live; we will only survive. Dare to dream! Your dream may be to work in a certain profession or live in a particular place. Or your dream might involve simple things: to have more time to work in your garden, spend more time with family or friends, have time for walks, or to read books. Keep a journal, and create a dream or vision board: add to it and look at it often. Follow your passion, and you will be following your purpose.
Action: Spend some time meditating, praying, and thinking about your life. Purchase a journal and begin writing down your thoughts and dreams.
