Abundance Mindset                                                                  DAY 20

One of the keys to abundance is having a solution-oriented mindset. When average people ask themselves, "Can I do this?" they base it on circumstances they see. An abundant thinker asks different questions, "HOW can I do this?" This question forces your mind to create solutions--your subconscious will begin seaching for answers.

Consider that there is an infinite number of ways to get across a road--walk, crawl, hop, dance, etc. There's always a way. Your conscious mind uses reason based on past experiences, but your subconscious mind isn't reasonable and can solve problems when you force it by asking, "how can I?"

If there's always a solution, how big are you willing to think and allow yourself to dream of possibilities? The truly abundant mind-set is never swayed by the economy and is well grounded in the reality that if you are not living in abundance, then you'll simply have to create it.  Those with a true abundant mind-set realize that the universe has more than enough resources to go around--enough to make everybody happy and fulfilled. They know there's never a reason to be covetous or envious of another person.

There is no lack. Ther is more than enough. You are more than enough. There is an abundant supply of everything you need. You must build a character of abundance that is deep inside of you. You don't have to think about it--whether circumstances are good or bad, whether you're riding high or low--you think abundance.

You really can have it all!! Just believe it!

XOXO

Thanksgiving                                                                                         DAY 18

Gratitude is truly the attitude that will change everything.  We can stop the natural, negative doubts deep inside our minds by redirecting them toward abundance. This simple shift can change your world and all that you can create in it. An attitude of gratitude will adjust your mind to focus on the positive. You will discover and create more of the same, experiencing more abundance, prosperity, well-being, love and happiness.

I challenge you to something I make of point of doing everyday. Before I get out of bed in the morning, I say or write down at least 3 to 5 items I am most grateful for AND why I am grateful for them. Example: I am grateful for my excellent health, because it allows me to do everything I need to do today. I am grateful for the beautiful sunny weather, I get to appreciate all the beauty around me. I am grateful for my amazing 4 kids, they bring me so much joy and love.

Thank YOU!

Forgiveness - Get Your Power Back                                  DAY 17 FORGIVENESS

11/22/2016

Are you haunted by something that happened in your past? Whether someone wronged you or you made a decision you regret, maybe you have unresolved anger or resentment. What you may not realize is that powerful, self-destructive emotions like anger, hate, and resentment can cause you to pay an incredibly high price. Forgiveness is the way to get your power back.

We can learn alot from observing how others handle the process of choosing to forgive or not to forgive. My sweet grandmother had an issue with forgiveness and regret. She was one of the most loving and giving people I've known. But I could see how her inability to release and let go and forgive - a couple of issues from her childhood and early in her adult life - caused her to be somewhat imprisoned by those thoughts and feelings. She would frequently talk about things she regretted in her life. This was actually a gift from her to me -  I saw how it affected her, and decided that I would live a life of no regrets...

There is power in forgiveness. Forgiving the people who have hurt you (including yourself), even if they don't ask for it, is what you do for yourself.  When you forgive, it doesn't mean that you approve of what's happened. Rather, it means that you're giving yourself permission to move on with your life.

Generally, forgiveness is a decision to let go of resentment and thoughts of revenge. The act that hurt or offended you may always remain a part of your life, but forgiveness can lessen its grip on you and help you focus on other, positive parts of your life.

Forgiveness doesn't mean that you deny the other person's responsibility for hurting you, and it doesn't minimize or justify the wrong. You can forgive the person without excusing the act. Forgiveness brings a kind of peace that helps you go on with life.

Much love....
XOXO

Meaningful Goals                                                                       Day 7

Let's talk about meaningful goals. This is a subject that you would have great difficulty placing too much emphasis upon.

Sift through the reams of information cataloguing the differences between high and low performers and two shocking facts emerge. The people who have goals, achieve and enjoy far more than those who do not, and those who have written goals achieve the most of all.

A study was made of alumni, ten years out of Harvard University to find out how many were achieving their goals. The study revealed some very interesting information. An outstanding 83% had NO GOALS… NONE. They had absolutely no targets they were working toward. 14% had specific goals but were not written down. However, they were earning three times the income the 83% were earning.

That is interesting, but listen to this. The 3% group who had specific goals, clearly written to read and review were earning 10 times the income of the 83% who had no goals. Pretty amazing!

J.C. Penny, founder of the retail store chain that bears his name said, “Give me a stock clerk with a goal, and I’ll give you a person who will make history. Give me a person without a goal and I’ll give you a stock clerk.”

Think about what is important to you. Write it down, say them out loud, share them with someone who you trust will encourage you! Then take action!

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

Everything begins with a thought. Thoughts lead to emotions, emotions inspire action, and action creates habits. Your habits become your character AND our Character equals your destiny!!!

Have you heard the expression, “Be careful of what you wish for, because you just might get it?” Sure you have, and you probably believe it is true. We become what we think about - watch your thoughts & your words…

Everything begins with a thought. We have thousands of thougths every hour of the day, who how do we choose the ones to focus on? Do our thoughts really play a role in our circumstances?

Look around you — everything ever invented, created, and discovered began as a thought in someones imagination. You begin to realize that anything and everything in the world begins and happens as a result of the power of thoughts. Its our thoughts, mixed with the emotions created by those thoughts, that seem to mold and shape our lives - physically, financially, in relationships, emotionally, and spiritually.

Have you ever given much thought to your thoughts? Think about what you are thinking about and realize the crucial role your individual thoughts play in determining how every event condition, and circumstance in your life unfolds as a result of their createive power!!

Be CREATIVE!!!

Thinking Love,

What Are You Committed To? Day 5

11/16/2016

What are you committed to? Making a commitment to your goals and dreams is somewhat intimidating... Most of us will not even make New Year's resolutions any more because we know there is a very good chance we will not make it to February before those resolutions are long forgotten... We understand the importance of making a commitment, but choose not to make one in fear that we will not follow through.

What would happen if we actually committed to pursuing the goals and dreams in or heart? That is really what this 52 days to SHIFT your life is all about. Dream BIG and actually make a promise to yourself to take the action to see your dreams come true!

It all starts with doing some serious soul searching. What is important to you? What will you regret someday if you don't do it? I've learned a few things that help me accomplish my goals and dreams. 1) Write it down! - there is something magical about writing something, in my own handwriting. You think it, then say it, then see it - it's almost like then I claim it and it is real! 2) Next is - Say it out loud! Tell someone about your goals and dreams! I might add that when you share your dreams with someone, if they don't have a strong surprised reaction - then you probably are not dreaming big enough! 3) Accountability. It is very important to have someone holding you accountable to do what you say you are going to do. Ask someone you know, love & trust to push you along and make sure you are following through on everything you need to do to succeed!

It will not be easy - if it were easy you would have already done it! Your BIG dream will make you feel scared and exited at the same time! You can do it -you already have everything you need to make it happen - just make the decision to go for it - what are you waiting for?

Ok - I'm making this blog my accountability partner - If I share my big dreams here, then I will have everyone who reads this cheering me on which will encourage me to make sure it happens!

1. Physical Health - I will be fit and healthy - I will eat right and exercise daily. This will allow me to have the energy and ability to do everything I need to do every day!
2. Relationships - I will be the best mom possible to my kids - I want to be supportive and involved and I want them to know I love them and am proud of them. I want to be the best friend to the people in my life - friends, family, and business partners. I am committed to serving the people I love.
3. Romance - I want to meet my soulmate, the love of my life. The man I will share the rest of my life with. He is smart, funny, honest, successful, handsome, a man of integrity, a great communicator. He is ready for love and is not afraid to show love. He enjoys adventure, fun, travel, romance, kids, passion and he is not intimidated by an alpha female :)
4. Business - I will launch my product line and it will be super successful! It will be a global brand and have lots of items that will help a lot of people. I will be able to run my business from any where in the world and even when I am sleeping!
5. Money - I will have abundance in all areas of my life money included. I will make $millions through my business then have my $ make $ for me too!
6. Spiritual - I will continue to grow my relationship with God and show His love through loving and serving others.
7. Adventure - I will travel the world. I will have my kids experience other countries through fun trips and mission trips. When my kids are in college and living on their own, I will always have a home in Naples but will also rent villas a month at time in Countries around the world. I will experience the different cultures, people, food, history - all of it. I will run my business and write more books.
8. Contribution - I will give of myself and money to the causes and people I believe in. I want to make a difference through my business, my writing, my speaking and through helping those in need.

Well, that is just a start for now! Ready to LAUNCH!

XOXO

Happy Birthday!!!

November 14 is my birthday. I have never been one to be over-excited about celebrating my birthday. It's not that I'm worried about aging or getting older... I just like to have a little mystery around my true age. I think I've always looked and acted younger than I actually am - and my goal is to age "gracefully" by taking care of myself. I try to eat right, exercise, take supplements, have a positive attitude, make sure I keep my hair and makeup looking good, etc.

This year was a big year for me. Losing my best friend, Patty Dresser, tragically last month, really did shake me up and allow me to reevaluate my core values, my dreams, goals and living each day to the fullest!

I ended a 2 year romance, so I'm back in the single dating arena.... I launched my full-fledge brand/marketing consulting company Neapolitan Consultants - it is really taking off!!! I'm studying a new area of personal development - based on Energy Work and Jungian Psychology... And I am MOST excited that I just recently filed for a provisional patent on an idea I have had for a very long time!!! Ready to sign a contract to launch my new product line soon!!! OMG!

So I would like to invite you to join me in committing to making 2017 our Best Year Ever!!!

Dream Big!

How Big of a Game Do You Want to Play? Day 4

11/13/2016

How big of a game do you want to play? Do you really want to fulfill the dreams God has placed in your heart? These are dreams and goals that will create passion in your life and move you into daily, monthly, and yearly action. Dreams and goals that bring emotion because of the clear sacrifices that we make preceding long-hoped for victories. Yes, dreams and goals create miracles and accomplishment and fulfillment. And equally important, dreams and goals can create balance, priorities, and life-enhancement.

A Few Questions to help:
I hope you have been dreaming these past few days. Do some soul searching to become very clear on what are the dreams in your heart? What are the most important areas of our life and what dreams do you have for these areas? What are your three most important goals in life, right now? Think about what would you do and how would you spend your time if you learned today that you only had 6 months to live? If time & money were not an issue, what would you do if you knew you could not fail? What do you enjoy doing most? What gives you your greatest feeling of personal satisfaction?

Once you have your dreams in front of you, it is time to break the big dreams into measurable goals. In the book I share the SMART formula for achieving goals Specific Measurable Attainable Realistic Timely. It starts with writing down your dreams and goals - this forces you to visualize them. It also creates an emotional commitment.

The loss of my bff, Patty Dresser, has released an array of emotions within me. She and I were always sharing our dreams and goals and ideas with eachother. When we spoke last Wednesday night, we had no idea it would be our last conversation. She was hoping to sell her house and then maybe move to Naples with me, start a business she would love to do every day, enjoy the beach, meet her soulmate, travel, create a legacy for her boys...

We all tend to let circumstances get in the way of following our hearts desire. We think that someday, oneday, when I have more money, when the kids are older, when I sell the house, when the economy is better... I believe now that if Patty would have known that her time was limited she would have made some different choices. None of us really knows what tomorrow will bring - today is the perfect day to take ACTION towards pursuing your BIG dreams!

I'm not waiting - Will you join me?

XOXO

Purpose                                                                                                     DAY 3

Day 3 and honestly it's still very painful, dealing with the emotions around the loss of my best friend, Patty Dresser. I miss her and I miss our daily conversations. I know she would be following along with me in reading my book and taking this 52 day challenge. We recently had this conversation about knowing our purpose and actually pursuing the passions and dreams in our heart. We both have big dreams we know we were meant to accomplish! I'm not holding back any more!

The questions are: What on earth am I here for? What is my purpose in life?

Where do you start?

By realizing your greatness...

You will only be truly happy when you are living up to your strengths, courage, and capabilities.  Listen to your heart. That is were you will find your bundle of desires, hopes, interests, ambitions, dreams, talents, passions and dreams.

Think about what really thrills you. When you are quiet, think about those things that really get your blood moving. What you you LOVE to do do, either for fun, for a living, or to make a contribution? What would you love to accomplish? What big thoughts make you excited and scared at the same time?

Begin writing it all down on paper. Get a journal and every morning just take a few minutes and write down some of your big dreams and how you would feel if you actually were working towards achieving those dreams...

The truth is, your purpose for living is already in you. Its just below the surface waiting for you to accept it and begin living it to the fullest! Get fired up! Take a tiny step towards your dream, it may not be perfectly clear how you will achieve it, but when you know WHY the HOW shows up every time!!!

3. 2. 1. LAUNCH!

XOXOXO

Passion & Purpose - Fuel For Your Soul                                          Day 1 Passion

11/11/2016

Passion & Purpose. To me that is what life is all about. Being passionate about what I do, discovering my purpose and passionately living my life to make a difference seemed to be the driving force for most of my life.  So now, with the death of my best friend Patty Dresser this week, I have an entirely heartfelt and raw perspective on this 52 days to create a shift...

What if we don't have 52 days? What if you knew that tomorrow was your very last day on this earth? What if you had the opportunity to wake up and LIVE your purpose tomorrow - what would you do?

Patty and I have talked several times a week every week for years. I spoke with Patty the night before she died. We didn't know this would be the last time we spoke. Of course, I remember almost every detail of this conversation. Something that is really haunting me about what was to be our final conversation I will share with you...

I excitedly shared with Patty that I had just started the process to file for a provisional patent for an idea that I have had for a long time. She is one of very few people whom I had shared this entire process with and, of course she was as excited as I am!! She said "you know, after you launch your idea, I have an idea too that we can work on together." I asked if she wanted to talk about it now and she said she was still processing it but would tell me after I did mine... Oh my God. The world has missed out on something GREAT!

We simply do not know what tomorrow will bring. Why do we wait? What are we waiting for? What is holding us back from realizing our dreams and passions and purpose for living? Fear? Excuses? Not truly knowing what our passion or purpose is?

The first 7 pages in my book I talk about living your dream. Following your heart's desires to what you truly love to do, your passion. Find something you want so badly that you wake up in the morning thinking about it - your dream is what drives you - fuel for your soul!

I have been in the car driving all day on my way to Indiana for Patty's memorial service on Tuesday. I have had hours and hours of time to think about life. My life, Patty's life, all the people I love.... I do have BIG dreams that I have been keeping on hold. Waiting for the right time, waiting for the money, waiting....

So, now I'm asking myself and you - if time and money were not an issue - what would you do? No more excuses for me. Money is a commodity I will not use lack of it as an excuse to wait any longer and time is not on my side it is moving on with or without me! My passion is driving me now !

Watch out world - something GREAT is on its way!!!

XOXO
