It is time to turn your dreams into reality. Now is the time to plan your future, to reflect on the things you have experienced an how they age affected you.
What have you learned from your past experiences? How have you grown? How do you need to continue to grow/ what areas in you life do you need to work on? Have you written down your goals and dreams and put together a plan of action to achieve item?
Success is not an accident. People who achieve what they want in life do it by following a very specific recipe. Perhaps they are not even aware that the've taken specific steps, but everyone who has ever created success in their lives, whether consciously or not, has followed more or less the same process...
1. Know your WHY! If the why is big enough the how is easy.
2. Vivid Vision! Create a picture in your mind of what you want - so vivid it seems real!
3. Do something EVERYDAY towards achieving your goals and dreams.
4. Plan of Action. SMART goals, partnering, Do it Afraid!
5. Steady Wins the race. Power of momentum! Don't quit!
6. Enjoy the Journey!
"If you can dream it, then you can achieve it. You will get all you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want." ~ Zig Ziglar
If you work really hard to achieve your goals but don't enjoy the journey, you're delaying the essence of life. Committing to your goals doesn't mean you slave away at work you dislike, celebrating only the destination. A real abiding commitment means that you love what you do each day. You are at least as passionate about the path as you are about the results. If you love the path you're on, your passion motivates you to keep taking the next step.
But passion alone isn't enough. Passion requires focused direction, and that direction must come from three other areas: your purpose, your talents, and your needs.
First, purpose and passion go hand in hand. If you don't know your life purpose, your passion won't be guided by conscience. Many criminals go this route -- they are very passionate about certain actions, but those actions aren't motivated by a higher purpose.
When your passion and purpose point in the same direction, it means you fall in love with the path of service. You love what you do, an it also contributes positively to the world. This creates a synergy, which increases your passion manifold. This is a natural consequence of doing something you love to do that you know is making a difference.
