Positive Self Talk
Positive affirmations are a vehicle of communication from our conscious to our subconscious mind. The dominating thoughts of our conscious mind, positive or negative, will influence our beliefs. Our thoughts lead to emotions, and a strong emotional connection will inspire our actions to create results. We can influence the thoughts that enter our subconscious through positive affirmations - self talk.
Our five senses are constantly being bombarded with impressions that our conscious mind must sort through - the stimuli get either rejected or passed on to the subconscious mind (our problem solver). So basically, the conscious awareness serves as a type of outer guard or filter to the approach of the subconscious. For example, if a bee lands on your hand, when you see it or feel it, you will have an emotional reaction and leap into action to create the result of getting the bee off your hand!
We have absolute control over the content that reaches our subconscious mind through our five senses. You don't have to be reactive - you are best to be creative! The questions we are faced with now is whether or not we choose to always exercise that control!!!
Action: Be aware of what you are saying to yourself as you go through your daily activities. Notice your use of self-control ( or lack of) in certain challenging situations today.

What on earth am I here for?

Asking good questions is a powerful place to begin. The answer might be; It's not about you.
Consider the possibility that your purpose of life is much greater than your own personal fulfillment and happiness. It is far greater than our family, your job, or your ambitions.
People have pondered the meaning of life for thousands of years. Who am I? We can begin pursuing our dreams when we take our eyes off ourselves - What do I want to do? What are my goals and my dreams for my future? Focusing on ourselves may start the process, but it will never really reveal God's perfect plan for our lives.
We all struggle with our identity, wondering, Who am I? We all wonder about our importance, asking, Do i matter? Then we consider our impact and want to know, What is my purpose in life?
When you know what God wants you to do the , the blessings come form actually dong what you were created to accomplish. What dream in your heart will take you fro success to significance?
Positive Mental Attitude

Think negative or think positive - it's a choice and a process. Negative is an instinctive process. Positive thinking is a learned self-discipline that must be studied and practiced every day.
To achieve a positive attitude, you must take physical, verbal, and mental actions every day, in every situation. Take the responsibility to control you inner thoughts and emotions. Act instead of reacting. Don't wait until something bad happens and then try to deal with it. Be proactive and make something good happen.
If you put positive in, you get positive results. Make a committent to read from a positive book every day. Turn off the TV and listen to a positive thinker's recordings. Invest your time with positive people, doing positive things to grow your mind. Invest in yourself - daily!
Action: Spend an hour a day leaning anything, and in five years, you will become a world-class expert. The question you need to ask yourself is; What will you invest your time in?
