Journal - For two weeks (or more) whenever you get that "rushed" feeling an the sense of impatience, write down the feelings associated. This will allow you to be more aware.
Do some Reflection - Why are you in such a hurry? Look at your schedule - learn to say NO.
Pinpoint the Triggers - Identify the people, places, activites that cause you to become annoyed & impatient. What are the realitites that you can deal with.
Overcome - Take a deep breath, count to 10, go to your "happy place" discover a technique that allows you to get through each bout of impatience you experience.
Look for Patterns - Figure out the unhealthy relationships, environments, problems that you can remove to allow more peace in your life.
Let GO - Sometimes we need to simply walk away.
Remind Yourself - Time really can make a difference.
Expect the Unexpected - then you won't be surprised and take things as they come.
Give Yourself a Break - Do something for YOU everyday.
Remember What Matters - Move the world towards peace by being kind, generous, grateful and take advantage of what truly matters most - LOVE.
You will eventually get what you want - just remember patience is a mental skill that you will never forget, so cherish & celebrate patience as a major step for you in life.
